Kuala Lumpur Food and Dining

Malaysians are always absorbed with food and it is noteworthy that the country's capital, Kuala Lumpur reflects this love affair with eating. Tourists can find a wide range of Malaysian cuisine as well as various foods from around the world.

From high to low budget, restaurants of all budgets are available in KL. Tourists can make their way to the roadside stalls and Malaysians coffeeshops called kedai kopi. Coffeeshops are found on virtually every street in KL but Chinatown in the City Center and Jalan Alor in the Golden Triangle are some of the preferred areas in KL which have some of the greatest concentration of coffeeshops and stalls.
